How HR Scammed in an Interview ...
HR: "What salary are you looking for?"
Me: "AED 10,000 to AED 12,000 a month."
HR: "You're perfect for the role, but we can't afford that."
Me: "Alright, I can do AED 8,000."
HR: "When can you start?"
Now, here's the twist: The budget for the role was actually AED 11,000. HR pats themselves on the back for a job well done in salary negotiation, thinking they've saved the company money.
I discovered the pay gap. The result? Dissatisfaction. Disengagement. Demotivated.
After 6 months down the line, I resigned for a better Job and a good salary as per my designation. The recruitment process starts again, leading to more costs in recruitment.
The lesson? To attract and retain top talent, pay people what they're worth.
Let's value our employees and invest in their success. It's a win-win for everyone!
